KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF AUGUST 19, 2024
FMC PRAYER: Lord, we lift up those who do not recognize You as their Lord and Savior. We ask that Your Word be presented to them this week through gentleness, conviction, power, understanding, and an overwhelming peace that they have never known before. Teach us to make the most of every opportunity we have to share the richness of Your salvation and to be the fragrance of Christ to them. Unite us as we stand together against the enemy and his attempts to keep them blinded to Your truth.
SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: Joshua 7 ~ Ai and Achan
FMC ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…lives and communities are transformed…
Lord, thank You for the power of Your Spirit and His ability to change lives and communities for generations on end. Open our eyes this week to see where You are working and give me the words and actions to further Your Kingdom so that more and more of Your children can approach Your throne with humble confidence as we consider the finality of our lives here on earth. May the idea of being salt and light consume our every interaction this week.
INVISIBLE CHURCH: Father, we pray that Your Holy Spirit would empower us to overcome any division that stands before us.
Please grant us the humility to listen and learn from one another this week – alongside the wisdom we need to humbly seek common ground where we can grow together in faith and purpose. May our unity in Christ be a powerful witness to the world of Your love and the truth of the gospel.
STUDENTS: Encourage our students to build genuine relationships, listening with open hearts and sharing the hope they have in You when opportunities arise. Let their lives be a living example of Your goodness and a source of inspiration to those around them.
SCRIPTURE: 1 Timothy 4:12 “Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.”
CARE: Inspire us to act with empathy and to build meaningful connections with those we serve. Help us to be a beacon of Your light in a world that often feels dark and uncertain. May our efforts be a testament to Your goodness and a reminder of the power of love and community.
