Kingdom Prayers

KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 20, 2023

FMC PRAYER:What does Jesus means when He prays – “Your Kingdom come” and how does that shape your prayers today? Pray that God opens your eyes to see what life in His kingdom looks like…here on earth.

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 4:11-12 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,”

FMC TEAM VALUES: Value 4 – Embrace the hill: Runners often dread hills along their route and most view them as a place to slow down. But a healthy, well-trained runner sees the hill as an opportunity to pass people and actually take ground. We want our team to function in this way. We should expect all kinds of challenges and opposition as we strive to accomplish our God-given vision. When those times come, we will choose to have a joyful mindset that is motivated by challenge rather than dismayed by it.

OUTREACH: A Healthy Fear of the Lord: “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” Proverbs 9:10

“Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who finds great delight in His commands.” Psalm 112:1

Pray that a healthy fear of the LORD would be the foundation on which our lives and faith are built – personally and corporately; that we would continually seek to humble ourselves under His mighty hand; that we would know that He is our wisdom, our knowledge, our delight, and that there is no greater blessing than walking in His ways.

PILLAR: Pillar 9: Serve Others (helper/service/healing) Pray for the conversations and interactions that will be happening this week in your life. Pray that those who walk into your life will know and feel the love of Christ on display and that you would humbly, joyfully, and extravagantly serve those around you.

MEDITATE: Hebrews 6:10 – “For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do.”
