KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK OF DECEMBER 12, 2022

FMC PRAYER: Lord, please protect us from evil men and evil ideas. Since the beginning, the enemy of our souls seeks to destroy Your glorious purposes for the world and Your people. We pray for your protection against all powers and principalities seeking to sow division, anger, envy, greed, and lust among your people. Keep evil men with destructive intent and unsound doctrines far from us. Expose our culture’s ugly lies and the lies we want to believe by setting our hearts on truth that leads to love, a good conscience, and sincere faith (1 Timothy 1:5).

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: Luke 1:51-53 Mary’s Song of Praise: The Magnificat “He has shown strength with his arm; he has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts; he has brought down the mighty from their thrones and exalted those of humble estate; he has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty.”

FMC TEAM VALUES: Value 7 – Laugh Out Loud: Laugh out loud! Have fun. As we work, have fun. As we serve, have fun. We want to be a team that laughs together. This is something that we must be intentional about. Fun must be not only allowed for but planned for. During meetings, we want laughter to be commonplace. We want to be the kind of team that laughs frequently during meetings, a team that isn’t always serious and sour, a team that dances at each other’s weddings. This is one of the most important values. 

OUTREACH: Mentoring Up and Down: Pray that we would all recognize that we are to grow and learn and serve and become more like Jesus, together; that we would all seek to share what God has done in and for us with one another; that we would be willing to invest in one another’s growth in meaningful and fruitful and consistent ways; that no one would be too proud to admit that he/she doesn’t need others and that no one would believe the lie that he/she has nothing to offer. 

PILLAR: Pillar 1: Teach Truth (teacher/preacher/educator) FMC promotes a compelling, fresh, expansive, & innovative curriculum spanning ages, spiritual maturity, & traditions.

APPLICATION: Practice: Pray for the hearts and minds of your brothers and sisters who are called to preach. Pray for strength and wisdom to navigate their direction in God’s Word and that they would be protected for the evil one as they walk in the path of Truth.
