Kingdom Prayers

KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK OF DECEMBER 5, 2022

FMC PRAYER: Lord, may my love greatly adorn the gospel. Father, your Son said that the love we have for our brothers and sisters will proclaim to the world that we are Your disciples. Please deepen my love for those around me, and make Your Church eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit – help us care for all, not showing any favoritism.

May Your love compel us to strengthen the weak, bind up the injured, and serve patiently as we remember our service to others is service to You. Help us model Your unfathomable love for us in our honoring of one another, and so prove to the watching world that Christ has risen and reigns eternally.

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: Luke 1:50 – Mary’s Song of Praise: The Magnificat  “And his mercy is for those who fear him from generation to generation.”

FMC TEAM VALUES: Value 6 – Build the bench: To reach the Tri-State Region & Beyond, we must be committed to reproducing ourselves exponentially. We must constantly strive to lead more and do less. None of us are the Lone Ranger. Instead, we’re looking to build a team of people to serve alongside us, so we can multiply our skills and expertise. Similarly, we must be able to scale our processes and systems so that we can accommodate the growing body of Christ who are called to serve: we must build redundancy into our capability so that there is no single point of failure on the team.

OUTREACH: That Christ-centered relationships would flourish in the church:Love from the center of who you are; don’t fake it. Run for dear life from evil; hold on for dear life to the good. Be good friends who love deeply; practice playing second fiddle.” Romans 12:9-10

Pray, church, that we would be uncompromising in our commitment to love one another as Christ has loved us; that we would speak the truth in love to one another; that we would forgive quickly and completely; that we would guard our hearts and the words that come out of our mouths; that we would seek one another’s good before our own; that we would be people of abundant grace; that we would generously and selflessly serve one another – for our great good and God’s great glory.
