KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF OCTOBER 28
, 2024

FMC PRAYER: Father, this week we ask for conviction! May Your Spirit, and Your Spirit alone, set our hearts on fire so that we might repent and turn our eyes and feet back to that well lighted path. Holy Spirit, show us any way in which we are grieving, quenching or resisting You. Humbly keep us in step with Your plan and reign in us so that we experience Your freedom. Lead us through the promise of that amazing moment when we get to see You, face-to-face.

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: Numbers + Joshua ~ Joshua + Caleb, Ephesians link

FMC ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…the Holy Spirit’s fruit ripens in believers’ lives…Lord, we want to be effective for Your kingdom, constantly growing into mature and fruitful disciples – making mature and fruitful disciples! Awaken our senses to be attuned to Your Spirit so that we are able to see Your plan revealed throughout our lives and repent when our paths are shadowed by our sinful nature. May generations be blessed because of our obedience and Your eternal faithfulness.

INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, protect us from evil men and evil ideas. Since the beginning, the enemy of our souls seeks to destroy Your glorious purposes for the world and Your people. We pray for Your protection against all powers and principalities seeking to sow division, anger, envy, greed, and lust among Your people. Keep evil men with destructive intent and unsound doctrines far from us. Expose our culture’s ugly lies and the lies we want to believe by setting our hearts on Truth that leads to love, a good conscience, and sincere faith (1 Timothy 1:5).

STUDENTS: Father, we pray that as our students experience trials and suffering, that they would also experience a close and deep friendship with You in the midst. We pray that You would make them resilient and persistent, more like Christ with every passing hardship, developing their character and leading them to hope in You alone.

SCRIPTURE: Romans 5:3-5 “Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”

CARE: Lord, we ask for Your guidance as we seek to care for and support those who are struggling. Open our eyes to the needs around us and give us the wisdom to respond with generosity and kindness. Help us to be sensitive to the needs of others, whether they are physical, emotional, or spiritual.

Grant us the courage to step out of our comfort zones and offer assistance where it is needed most. Empower us to be a source of hope and comfort to those who are hurting, lonely, or in distress. Let our actions reflect Your love and grace, and may our words bring encouragement and healing.
