KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 30, 2024
FMC PRAYER: Lord, we lift up the people who work behind the scenes at Four Mile. Thank You for every volunteer who has devoted themselves to the service of Your Kingdom, whether they are teaching classes or changing diapers – bless them for their obedience and the generosity that they have displayed—may You always receive praise as a result! Keep them in an attitude of humility that comes from wisdom and a wholehearted service to You rather than to be noticed by others.
SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: Joshua 9-10 ~ Exhortation
FMC ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…families are reunited…Lord we pray that You would restore the bonds that have been broken within our family members. We know, God, that You love reconciliation and restoration, but we also admit that we cannot do anything on our own and for that, we ask that Your Holy Spirit soften our hearts, our words, and our attitudes. May we be filled to the brim with love so that it may overflow and we may share it with our families. Allow us to be instruments of Your grace, mercy, and forgiveness. In due time, Lord, let our broken relationships be restored.
INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, help us to embrace the diversity of Your body as a reflection of Your creativity as we work together for the advancement of Your Kingdom. You have given us each different gifts and talents – gently remind us of Your design for the Church when we start to think that our way is the only way. May we be instruments of reconciliation, constantly sowing seeds of peace and building bridges of understanding.
STUDENTS: This week we lift up all of the students and leaders at FMC! We ask that Your excitement and joy would be contagious throughout their time together and that students would connect with one another and form new friendships! May the character of everyone who enters FMC’s campus be strengthened as You reveal to them who You are and how much You love them. Prepare every heart to fearlessly proclaim Your joy to the masses so that households would be transformed and Your faithfulness be revealed.
SCRIPTURE: Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
CARE: Father, as we navigate the twists and turns of each day, help me to pause and see beyond my own needs and to recognize the struggles and pains of those around me. Grant me the insight to understand the silent cries for help, whether they come from a friend, a neighbor, or a stranger passing by. Give me the patience to listen, really listen, to the stories and worries shared with me, and please give me wisdom to offer comfort and support. Help me extend a nurturing hand to those who are hurting, and be a beacon of kindness in a world that can often feel harsh and unforgiving. Please bless me with the strength to be a source of light and love in a world that so desperately needs it.
