KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK OF JANUARY 15, 2024

FMC PRAYER: Lord, we lift up our entire congregation to You. Open our eyes to recognize where You have placed us and how we can best serve You each day. As we respond to Your calling Lord, fulfill our every purpose and every faith-filled act of service by Your power. May our knees become bruised and battered from humbly submitting to You and You alone as we walk in love with one another, clothed in Your righteousness and longing to see Your Kingdom come.

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 6:1-4

FMC ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond… the promises of God are believed… God promised salvation to all who believe in His Son (Romans 1:16–17); He promised that all things will work out for good for His children (Romans 8:28); that He would comfort us in our trials (2 Corinthians 1:3–4); and that we would have a new life in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).

There are many more promises of God that could be listed and all of them find their fulfillment in Jesus Christ, “the radiance of God’s glory.” As we turn toward Him and repent from our sinful ways, may we believe and rely on the eternal promises of God our Father.

INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, may our love greatly adorn the gospel. Father, Your Son said that the love we have for our brothers and sisters will proclaim to the world that we are Your disciples (John 13:34–35). Please deepen our love for one another and make us eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit (Ephesians 4:1-3). Help us care for all, not showing favoritism.

May love compel us to strengthen the weak, bind up the injured, and serve patiently as we remember our service to others is service to You (Matthew 25:31–46). Help us model Your unfathomable love for us in our honoring of one another, and so prove to the watching world that Christ has risen and reigns.

STUDENTS: Peace – Lord, please give our students Your peace. We pray that You will lead them to take every single thing they are worried about to You in prayer, so that Your peace, which passes all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in You. May they rest in your goodness and the certainty of your eternal promises.

SCRIPTURE:Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” John 14:27
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”
