KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK OF JANUARY 1, 2024

FMC PRAYER: Lord, we lift up our deacons and care team to You. May they walk out their faith with sincere and humble hearts. Keep them from indulgence and greed and bless their relationships as they love and serve Your local body. Help them hold tight to the Truth of the gospel and fill them with Your Spirit so that they may operate in wisdom as they carry out their responsibilities.

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: John 1:1-18

FMC ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond… the Truth of God is pursued…we know that divine wisdom comes from You alone Lord and aligns with Your principles. May our pursuit for Truth begin on our knees as we longingly search and pray to understand Your ways! We know that those who ask, seek, and knock are answered. May our daily decisions constantly remind us where our allegiance lies.

INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, help me to treasure Your bride as You do. Father, may we never underestimate the centrality of Your church in this world. From men and women who were Your enemies, You have been assembling a community of born-again worshipers from every tribe, tongue, and nation to proclaim Your matchless wisdom to the world and spiritual realm. All of history will culminate in your Son’s wedding to his beautiful bride! Lord, help me treasure Your bride as You do and pour myself out to build her up.

STUDENTS: FAITH + TRUST: Father, help our students to grow in faith and trust. Help them understand what it means to walk by faith and not by the sight! This world is a constant crazy distraction from everything that is perfect, holy, and True! Shut their eyes to such foolishness Lord and may they find stability and Truth in You and You alone this coming year.

SCRIPTURE: 2 Corinthians 5:7 “For we walk by faith, not by sight,”

Romans 10:17 “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”
