KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF DECEMBER 29, 2025

SERMON TITLE: Gratitude

SCRIPTURE: Reading of Psalms

FMC PRAYER: Lost Among Us – Lord, we lift up those who do not recognize You as their Lord and Savior, especially those within our very own families. We pray that You give us eyes to see them the way You do and respond to them with great love and compassion. Help us to take comfort that they cannot hide from You and that You see them clearly. We praise You for Your relentless pursuit of us…no matter how far away we think we have strayed. When we get weary, remind us that You never grow weary and never grow tired of searching for the one who has wandered away.

ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…lives and communities are transformed…Lord, thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit. We pray that as we interact with those in our lives that we always do so cognizant of the power of the Holy Spirit at work through us. Equip us boldly to share our faith to make an impact in Your Kingdom. Keep us focused on Your Kingdom work in all of our interactions and in our communities. We pray that each effort we make is blessed tenfold by You and creates a ripple effect that stretches further than we could ever think or imagine.

FMC VALUES: Value 3 -Stretch it out: Heavenly Father, we pray for the ministry team of FMC as they interact with the members of this church body to seek out feedback, respond with grace, and have a desire to do better. We pray that as they model their efforts that it is noticed by the members of FMC, and Your church grows healthier as a community of believers. Create in us a desire to do better and not settle for good enough. Please lead us to a single-minded focus to authentically make You more visible to the world around us.

INVISIBLE CHURCH: Father, we live small. We confess that we are absent-minded and easily lose our Kingdom focus. Please bring us transformative work within our church body that takes our eyes off of us and places them on You and You alone.

Equip us, Father, to seek out those who are living apart from You and see them as You do. We ask that You give us creativity to meet those outside of our walls and that we bear Your image intentionally to those around us, glorifying You and edifying Your eternal Kingdom.

STUDENTS: Lord God, we pray for our students. What a miracle and gift of life they are to us. We pray that each one of them grows in the knowledge that they were created intentionally by You and for You. Equip us to come alongside them to encourage them to grow in their individual and unique ways. May they be a light to those around them, reflecting the identity they find in You.

CARE: Almighty Father, we ask that You make us teachable and obedient to Your Holy Spirit, knowing that You seek not only to convict us, but to grow us to be more like You. We ask for greater humility, so that we see others as You do, beautifully and wonderfully made.

Equip us to be aware of the brokenness around us, not to increase our judgment, but to ask for greater compassion. We pray for those struggling with anxiety and worry that they willingly hand it all over to You, so that they are flooded with a peace and assurance that they have never known before. We ask that open hearts be transformed through the power of Your Holy Spirit.
