KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF NOVEMBER 24, 2025
SERMON TITLE: The Death of Elisha
SCRIPTURE: 2 Kings 13: 14-21
FOCUS: God provides for His people, granting victory and salvation…even over death; but we must take hold of it.
FMC PRAYER: Protection from the Enemy – Lord, we lift up our need for protection. Protect and deliver us from the evil one. Help us be as wise as serpents and as innocent as doves as we deal with the wolves around us. Show us how to test every spirit to see if they are from You. Help us recognize the enemy’s disguises and schemes so that he won’t outwit us.
ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…the wrath of God is feared…In awe and reverence, we come before You, Lord – acknowledging Your holiness and majesty. We know that Your justice is perfect and true…yet, we confess that our attempts at obedience are often half-hearted and that we do just enough to get by. Instead of going all in, we often play the middle of the field trying to do things our way and not Yours. Help us to learn from the consequences of our actions and to know that it’s only because Jesus bore Your wrath for our sin that we can now receive Your mercy instead.
FMC VALUES: Value 10 – Lord, make us a people who move in harmony with Your Spirit and with one another. Like a team running a motion offense, keep us aware, attentive, and united, always ready to serve and support each other. Teach us to anticipate the needs of our brothers and sisters, to resist isolation, and to work together in a way that strengthens Your church. Help us complement one another’s gifts so that, as one body, we glorify You in all we do. Amen.
INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, help me to worship You with an undistracted heart. It is so easy to get caught up in the day to day challenges and miss You in the midst of it all. Instead I pray that You increase my awareness of You within each moment of my day. If I am standing in line at the grocery store, walking through my neighborhood, or interacting with a co-worker, I pray that I see with new eyes and hear with new ears that are attentive to the needs of those around me and respond as the Holy Spirit prompts.
STUDENTS: Companionship of Christ ~ Father, we pray that our students would come to know You in a deep and authentic way that completely transforms their lives. We pray that each one of them comes to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior and that they chose to fully surrender their lives to Him and live in obedience to Your Holy Word. In these days where our students face loneliness, rejection, depression, and a multitude of other struggles, we pray that they come to know that You never leave, You will not reject them, and there is nothing that You cannot claim victory over in their lives.
CARE: Heavenly Father, equip me to encourage others to live out their faith to the fullest and to glorify You by loving the people You place in my life. Bless me with the strength to be a source of light and love in a world that so desperately needs it. Grant me the wisdom to know how to act and the willing obedience to follow Your leading. Help me live authentically, bearing the image of Jesus in all my interactions, increasingly aware that through Your work in me, seeds of hope are planted and watered.
It is my prayer that all would come to know that You alone provide for every need, grant victory over sin, and give salvation—not because we are worthy, but because of who You are.
You alone are good, and You are so, so good to us!
