KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF NOVEMBER 17, 2025

SERMON TITLE: God’s Word Comes True

SCRIPTURE: 2 Kings 8: 1-6, 8: 7-15, 9: 1-13, 9: 30-37

FOCUS: God’s Word of Truth always goes down exactly as He says it will; it’s the basis of our faith and hope.

FMC PRAYER: Lord, we lift up Your Church in this nation. We humbly confess that we have sinned and have messed things up immensely. We’ve operated out of acquired wealth thinking we could do it all on our own—but we cannot, Father. Please heal Your various Church bodies and draw us into a unified people once again – just like the Israelites when you led them through the wilderness and into the promised land, fully aware and dependent on You. Forgive us, Lord, as we continually recognize our sinful ways and repent. Grow in us a longing to seek Your face. Thank You for hearing and forgiving us. Please heal our land and our hearts, Lord!

ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…the grace of God is cherished…the gift that we do not deserve but were freely given. Lord, may we never underestimate what a powerful gift grace is – when we fall and fail in our every day ordinary lives, thank You for gently reminding us how powerful and accepting Your love is. Help us to exemplify Your character as we extend grace to those we encounter each day, for the Glory of Your Name alone.

FMC VALUES: Value 9 – Take it on the Chin: Lord, make us a church body that walks in humility and grace. Help us to lay aside excuses and embrace a spirit of ownership in all we do. When challenges arise or when we fall short, give us the courage to receive feedback with open hearts and the wisdom to respond with integrity. Teach us to apologize quickly, to restore what is broken, and to take responsibility in a way that honors You. Shape us into a community that invites correction, welcomes constructive criticism, and grows stronger because of it. And as we offer feedback to one another, may our words be filled with grace, compassion, and love. Unite us, Lord, and make us more like Christ in every interaction.

INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, stir our hearts with a deep longing for Christ’s return—not only for our own hope and restoration, but for the sake of those who do not yet know You. Open our eyes to the reality that eternity hangs in the balance for so many around us. While we often chase comfort and fleeting joys in this broken world, remind us that countless souls still need the saving grace of Jesus.

STUDENTS: Peace. Lord, give our students Your peace. We pray that You will lead them to take every single thing they are worried about to You in prayer, so that Your peace, which passes all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in You. May they rest in your goodness and the certainty of your eternal promises.

CARE: Lord, guide me in acts of kindness, both big and small, this week. Let me be a source of warmth and positivity to those I encounter. As I go about my day, direct me to find opportunities where I can make a difference in the lives of others for Your glory alone – be that through a smile, a helping hand, or a kind word. Open the eyes of the lost so that through these acts of kindness, Your unfathomable love and care might be deeply felt and lives be forever changed. Thank You for the opportunity to spread Your love through simple acts of caring. In Your name, I pray. Amen.
