KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF NOVEMBER 10, 2025
SERMON TITLE: Healing at the Pool
SCRIPTURE: John 5: 1-17
FMC PRAYER: Connectivity with the Church in Our City – Lord, we lift up Your Church in Beaver County and beyond. It is a beautiful reminder that You are always working and that You use Your church to do so. We pray, Father, that You give us eyes to see those who have been overlooked and pushed aside. Equip us to meet them where they are and acknowledge their pain and struggles, so that they might feel the love You have for them. We pray that Your Body be united in the authentic pursuit of being a living example to those around us for Your glory alone.
ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…the promises of God are believed…God promised salvation to all who believe in His Son (Romans 1:16–17); He promised that all things will work out for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28); He promised to comfort us in our trials (2 Corinthians 1:3–4); and He promised that we would have a new life in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).
God, You have given us so much through Your Son, and Your promises continue to encourage us as we walk out our faith, day after day. As we focus on making disciples this week, may Your promises be revealed, acknowledged, encouraged, and believed. Open the eyes of those who need to hear and see Your goodness and faithfulness, so that they will feel the comfort and peace that comes from believing and trusting in Your promises.
FMC VALUES: Value 8 – Protect This House: This is about building unity and strengthening relationships within the body of Christ. Our commitment to Christ and to one another is what guards us from division and the enemy’s schemes. When negative thoughts or words arise, we must have the courage to stop and say, “No—that doesn’t belong here.” We will choose honest, direct communication, going to one another in love rather than involving others unnecessarily. Together, we will hold one another accountable to speak truth, extend grace, and protect the unity God has given us.
Almighty Father, Your church is the representation of the Body of Christ, and because it is, it is under constant attack and thus susceptible to division. We pray for FMC and that we remain aware that individually we are responsible for acting in a manner worthy of the gospel and bearing the image of Your Son. We pray for the courage to live out Your Word in all circumstances and that our personal feelings won’t get in the way of us living obediently. Help us to be aware of and on guard against gossip, petty disagreements, discontent, opinions, pride, envy, and our own biases as we interact with one another. May we live with humility and glorify You in our interactions, always seeking unity in Your church.
INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, equip us for our mission on this earth. Lord God, we pray that You equip us to live out the mission of Your church to seek and save the lost; to share the good news that Your Son paid the price for our sins; and to make fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ, not only within our church, but everywhere that we go. We pray that You use us in ways that make a kingdom impact in ways that glorify You, so that those who are lost, stuck without hope, and feel like they are unseen, learn for themselves that not only are they seen, but they are so very loved by You!
STUDENTS: Father – help us to not overlook those that are young, but to see them for who they are, the future of Your church, made for a purpose, and created by You for You. We pray that You give us the opportunities to come alongside them and the church’s mission together, always aware of the example that we are setting and modeling for them. Help us not to squelch their interests or their ideas, but instead encourage them to step forward and act on what You have placed on their heart to do. May we seek ways to embolden the students in our church to grow in their faith and to take ownership of living it out authentically.
CARE: Father, thank You for the people that You have placed in my life for me to care for. I confess that I don’t always find it easy or convenient, and I don’t always respond the way that I should. I pray that You would give me eyes to see those around me with compassion, and that even though I might not always understand their struggles, I know that You do. I pray that You might increase my awareness for those who are truly struggling with issues so deep and painful that they have lost hope. Help me to look past what I see on the outside and instead see the battered soul within them and share the life-giving hope found in a relationship with You. Equip me to share the gospel with grace and joy, knowing that real hope and healing are found only in Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord God, I pray that I only glorify You in my interactions with others and never seek to point to myself, but only to You as their hope.
