KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF OCTOBER 27, 2025
SERMON TITLE: Horses and Chariots of Fire
SCRIPTURE: 2 Kings 6: 8-23
FOCUS: God’s grace is abundant, to friend and foe alike. God’s protection surrounds His people.
FMC PRAYER: Growth through Evangelism – Lord, we pray for the expansion of Your church in the Tri-State region and beyond. May hearts be drawn to Your Kingdom through the truth of the gospel, the love of Jesus Christ, and the evangelism of the saints. Help us recognize the impact of our actions on how others perceive and accept Your Good News. Guide us as we play our part in helping to lead Your people out of the darkness and into Your Son’s beautiful light. We want to represent You genuinely and faithfully in the community You have placed us, so please grant us the patience and boldness we need for this week.
ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…the Truth of God is pursued…Lord, draw us ever closer as we pursue the Truth found in You. May we seek Your wisdom through daily reading Your Word, humbly kneeling in prayer and relying on Your guidance. Teach us to ask, seek, and knock with hearts that are open to understanding Your ways and purposes. May our lives reflect the Truth we uncover, and may we walk faithfully in Your light each day.
FMC VALUES: Value 6 – Build the Bench: To impact the Tri-State region and beyond, we must be committed to multiplying people, not just efforts. We are called to equip and empower others, leading in ways that allow more to step up and serve. No one of us is meant to go it alone; together, we can grow a community that shares skills, gifts, and expertise. We must also develop systems and processes that can grow with the people God is raising up, creating opportunities for others to step in and serve. In this way, the work of God’s Kingdom continues without relying on any single individual, and more lives are reached for His glory.
INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, shield us from both wicked individuals and corrupt ideologies. Throughout history, our enemy has tried to ruin Your wonderful plans for the world and Your followers. We ask for Your protection against anything that tries to create division, anger, envy, greed, or lust among us. Keep those with bad intentions and false teachings away from us. Help us see through the lies in our society and the lies we’re tempted to believe by focusing our hearts on the Truth that brings love, a clear conscience, and sincere faith!
STUDENTS: Spiritual Health: Heavenly Father, we come before You seeking Your guidance for our students’ spiritual journey. In a world filled with uncertainties and challenges, grant them the wisdom to comprehend the essence of walking by faith, transcending the limitations of mere sight. As they navigate through the complexities of life, may they find solace and strength in their trust in You.
CARE: Let us fervently pray for those who have yet to encounter Christ or who persistently oppose His ways. In a world constantly enticing us towards sin, we must recognize the urgency for those living outside of Christ’s grace. May our prayers for them be fervent, seeking the opening of their eyes to the Truth, and may God grant us the strength and courage to act upon His will, speaking and doing what He asks of us in reaching out to those in need of salvation.
