KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 8, 2025
SERMON TITLE: The Mountain
FOCUS: There is no longer a need for God’s people to go to a mountain to meet with Him, because The Mountain has come to us; He is Jesus, the Rock of our salvation!
SEEKING GOD’S WILL: Jesus, You are the Mountain who came to us—our Rock, our Refuge, and our Strength. I lift my eyes to You, knowing that my help comes only from the Maker of heaven and earth. Teach me to lean not on my own understanding but to trust fully in Your will, even when the path seems steep.
FOCUS ON GOD’S GLORY: Heavenly Father, we come before You today in awe of Your unchanging faithfulness. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever, and we praise You for the certainty of Your love and care. Even when we are faithless, You remain faithful. Your promises never fail, and Your presence is constant, a refuge we can always depend on.
INTERCESSION FOR OTHERS: Mighty God, I lift before You those who are facing obstacles that feel like unmovable mountains. Be their Rock so that they cannot be shaken. Lord please bring encouragement, hope, and truth so that they may know the salvation that comes through Christ alone.
HUMILITY AND REPENTANCE: Jesus, I confess that too often I try to climb life’s mountains on my own, trusting my strength instead of resting in Yours. Forgive me for my pride, my sinful thoughts, and the attitudes that keep me from walking in Your ways.
SPIRITUAL WARFARE: Holy Spirit, give me strength to resist the enemy. Clothe me in Your armor. When the enemy tries to shake me, remind me that I am planted firmly on the Solid Rock.
