KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 1, 2025

SERMON TITLE: Elisha and the Shunammite Woman

SCRIPTURE: 2 Kings 4: 8-37

FOCUS: We are ALL dependent upon God in life and in death.

SEEKING GOD’S WILL: Jesus, teach me to open my life fully to Your will like You did for Your Father. May I not cling to my own comfort, wealth, or understanding, but instead listen and obey when You call me to serve.

FOCUS ON GOD’S GLORY: Father, let every act of kindness, generosity, and service be for Your glory and not my own. May people see Jesus in me, not because I am strong, but because I depend fully on You.

INTERCESSION FOR OTHERS: Holy Spirit, I lift up my family, my church, and my community to You. Just as Elisha carried Your truth into the Shunammite’s home, may I carry Your hope into the lives of others. Break through their fear, doubt, and pride with Your saving grace. Use me as Your vessel, so that the people around me would come to know that You are faithful in both life and death.

HUMILITY AND REPENTANCE: Lord, forgive me when I’ve trusted in my wealth, my plans, or my strength more than in You. Strip away the pride that blinds me and teach me to live with open hands—grateful for what You have given me.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE: God, I know the enemy would love for me to believe that I am self-sufficient, but I know that deep down I am absolutely nothing without You. Thank you for Your saving grace and for choosing me as Your child.
