WEEK OF AUGUST 18, 2025

SERMON TITLE: Moab Rebels Against Israel

SCRIPTURE: 2 Kings 3: 1-27

FOCUS: Our only hope for salvation is found in the Word of God.

SEEKING GOD’S WILL: Lord, thank you for another day. Remind me to seek Your will in every decision today. Help me remember what Your Word says so that I might walk in truth and not stumble into sin. Please use today to teach me to rely on Your Spirit above my own understanding.

FOCUS ON GOD’S GLORY: Father, You alone can turn impossible situations into amazing victories. All the glory belongs to You alone—not to armies, leaders, or my own strength. Keep my ego in check today, Lord and gently remind me of the sacrifice Jesus made to bring all glory to You alone.

INTERCESSION FOR OTHERS: Holy Spirit, we lift up those around us who are wandering, rebelling, or weary. We ask for Your mercy to break through their confusion and lead them back to You.

HUMILITY AND REPENTANCE: Lord, I humble myself before You, knowing that every good thing comes from Your hand. Forgive me for the pride that blinds me and the sins that weigh me down. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Teach me to walk in humility, quick to repent, and eager to serve.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE: Father, when I am weighed down by the pettiness of opinions, the noise of criticism, or the fleeting judgments of others, remind me that these are but dust compared to the glory that awaits me in Your presence. Lift my eyes above the temporary to behold the eternal, where every battle will cease and every tear will be wiped away.
