KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF JUNE 16, 2025

FMC PRAYER: Lord, we lift up our Kingdom focus and eternal priorities as a congregation to You this week. Give us ears to hear what Your Spirit is saying to Four Mile Church. Open our eyes to see things as You see them. Help us move beyond issues of immediate need to pursuing Kingdom issues with a Kingdom focus. Bring us to a place where we daily say and believe these words: “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: 1 Kings 18:41 & 1 Kings 19:8 ~ The Lord Sends Rain & Elijah Flees Jezebel

FMC ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…the goodness of God is relished…Father God,
You are so good—steadfast, powerful, and kind beyond measure. We praise You for being the same yesterday, today, and forever. Your goodness doesn’t shift with our circumstances; it remains constant, even when we forget to look for it.

Thank You for the ways You provide for us—sometimes quietly, sometimes miraculously. Just as You sent the rain after drought in Elijah’s day, You refresh our dry places with mercy, hope, and joy. You know what we need, and You are never late. We remember how Elijah prayed, and the skies broke open with rain. We remember how, clothed in Your strength, he outran the king’s chariot—leading the way, not by power or might, but by Your Spirit. Lord, help us to trust You like that. To move with boldness, knowing Your provision follows obedience.

In the middle of our daily lives—between errands, emails, conversations, and quiet moments—help us to relish Your goodness. May we notice it in laughter, in food on our tables, in the rain that falls, and in the peace that comes when we choose to trust You. May our hearts be tuned to gratitude and our words carry the evidence of Your kindness. Help us to run ahead—not in competition, but in courage—pointing others toward You, the source of all good things.

MISSIONS: Lord, may our love greatly adorn the gospel. Father, Your Son said that the love we have for our brothers and sisters will proclaim to the world that we are Your disciples (John 13:34–35). Please deepen our love for one another and make us eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit (Ephesians 4:1-3). Help us care for all, not showing favoritism.

May love compel us to strengthen the weak, bind up the injured, and serve patiently as we remember our service to others is service to You (Matthew 25:31–46). Help us model Your unfathomable love for us in our honoring of one another, and so prove to the watching world that Christ has risen and reigns.

INVISIBLE CHURCH: Psalm 139:14 “I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are Your works; my soul knows it very well.”

STUDENTS: Heavenly Father, as summer draws near, we lift up every student into Your care. Thank You for sustaining them through this season of learning. Now, Lord, we ask for more than just rest—we ask for renewal. Refresh their hearts and spirits. Let this be a time of deeper connection with You, where Your presence restores what’s been worn thin.

Grow them, Lord—not only in knowledge, but in wisdom, kindness, and character. Prepare their hearts and minds for the people You will place along their paths. Whether in friendships, family, jobs, or chance encounters, let their lives reflect Your grace and truth.

Build them up, not for their own recognition, but for Your glory alone. Shape them into young men and women who lead with compassion, speak with purpose, and love like Jesus. May this summer be more than a break—may it be a sacred time of becoming who You’ve called them to be.
