KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF MAY 19, 2025

FMC PRAYER: Father, just as You brought life back into the lifeless body of the widow’s son through the prayers of Elijah, we come to You with hearts awakened by the same power that raises the dead. Your promise of our eternal home gives us unshakable HOPE – a living hope that reaches beyond what eyes can see or minds can grasp. From before the foundation of the world, You set in motion a plan to bring life out of death, and light out of darkness.

Breathe into us, Lord, a faith that dares to believe in resurrection – in our hearts, our homes, our daily struggles. Open our eyes to see the unseen Provider who sustains us still, and awaken our spirits to live this hope boldly in the ordinary rhythms of life. May we carry Your life within us now, even as Your Son prepares a place for us in eternity.

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: 1 Kings 17:17-24; Elijah Raises the Widow’s Son

FMC ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…the Glory of God is honored…Lord, remind us each day how important it is to keep our eyes focused on the One thing that matters – Your Glory Alone. May Your name be honored in our households as we put off everything that distracts us and draws our attention elsewhere. Thank You for the new mercies You give us each and every day, may we not waste the opportunities that You set before us.

INVISIBLE CHURCH:You are the Giver of life – the One who hears the cries of Your people and brings the dead to life. As You did through Your servant Elijah, breathe again upon Your Church, scattered yet united, seen and unseen, known fully only to You. Strengthen the Invisible Church in every nation, tribe, and tongue with the living hope found in Your Son, Jesus Christ. Though the world may not see us, You see us. You know those who are Yours. From the beginning of time, You ordained a people who would live by faith, not by sight. Give Your Church a faith-filled imagination that dares to believe in resurrection—in broken lives restored, in cold hearts set ablaze, and in lifeless places revived by Your Spirit. Let Your life be visible in us—through mercy, through holiness, through love that defies the grave.

MISSIONS: Lord, we ask for Your wisdom, Your guidance, and Your love to empower our mission efforts. May Your Kingdom come, and may Your will be done in our community and beyond. We give You all the glory and honor, now and forever.

STUDENTS: Heavenly Father, may the Holy Spirit set a fire in the hearts of our students and adult leaders! Fill them with a sense of purpose and adventure. Guide, protect, sanctify, and unite them so that a whole new generation of youth may rise up in Jesus’ name…all for Your glory.

CARE: Lord, please bless our OWLS in their every day ordinary lives – with companionship, health, happiness, and JOY in their golden years. We are all in different stages of life – and this week, may we marvel and appreciate the beauty of Your plan in uniting us all under the sacrifice and love of Your Son. May Your OWLS always feel valued and cherished for the wisdom they carry. As we think of them, we ask that You grant them the strength to continue their journey with dignity, grace, and patience. Thank You for our OWLS Lord – may Your glory shine in their lives each and every day until they are called home – to Your glorious name be all the praise.
