KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF MARCH 3, 2025
FMC PRAYER: Lord, this week we lift up the women of FMC. May Your Spirit deeply prompt the older women to patiently train and admonish the younger through encouragement, support, and provision. And may our younger women continually encourage the older to love, honor, and respect their husbands as they did in their youth. Teach all of our women, married or not, to be virtuous—women with gentle and quiet spirits who put their eternal hope in You. May these women truly know Your passion for them and choose to spend their present time on this earth, here – at Your feet.
SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: Jesus Has Overcome the World ~ John 16:25-33
FMC ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…the lost are found…Heavenly Father,
with humble hearts, we come before You, trusting in Your boundless love and grace. Knowing that You, who seek the lost, would leave the ninety-nine to find the one…so today we ask You to reach out with Your mercy to those who wander far from Your presence.
We ask that Your voice would call them by name, and they would hear it, drawing them back to the safety of Your arms. For the weary, the broken-hearted, and those lost in sin, may Your Spirit move upon them, lifting them from despair. Restore them to Your peace, and let them know the depths of Your forgiveness.
We pray for the hearts that are hardened, that they may soften to Your gentle touch; for the blind, that their eyes may be opened to see Your truth; and for the lonely, that they may find comfort in Your presence. We ask that You continue to seek out those who are far from You, Lord – let them experience Your relentless love, and may they find hope in the arms of their Savior, Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ name, we ask these things.
INVISIBLE CHURCH: May we never forget that Your Church is not defined by buildings or programs, but by the people who carry Your light wherever they go. Help us to embrace and uplift our brothers and sisters in Christ, both near and far. May the invisible Church be a source of strength, support, and encouragement to each believer, reminding us that we are part of something far bigger than ourselves.
Lord, we long for the day when Your Church, in all its diversity and beauty, is fully united with You in heaven. Until then, we ask that You would bind us together in love, in purpose, and in the mission to share Your gospel with the world. Let our unity be a reflection of Your love, drawing others to You and showing the world that we are indeed one in Christ.
STUDENTS: Lord, we ask that You would give our students the wisdom to make choices that honor You. Help them to be aware of the impact that their actions, words, and attitudes have on those around them. May they remember the words of Paul: “Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12). May they live out this verse, setting a powerful example of Christlike character that encourages others to grow closer to You.
CARE: Father, as we navigate the twists and turns of each day, help me to pause and see beyond my own needs and to recognize the struggles and pains of those around me. Grant me the insight to understand the silent cries for help, whether they come from a friend, a neighbor, or a stranger passing by. Give me the patience to listen, really listen, to the stories and worries shared with me, and please give me wisdom to offer comfort and support. Help me extend a nurturing hand to those who are hurting, and be a beacon of kindness in a world that can often feel harsh and unforgiving. Please bless me with the strength to be a source of light and love in a world that so desperately needs it. Amen.
