KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF JANUARY 20, 2025

FMC PRAYER: Lord, we lift up the children attending FMC this week. May Your Holy Spirit be at work within them, nurturing a childlike faith that draws us all closer to You. May their lives reflect Your light as they interact with family and friends, encouraging one another in Your love. Teach them to proclaim Your marvelous works and fill their hearts with a desire to grow closer and closer to You every day. May Your Spirit guide them to flee from evil desires and pursue the things that bring glory and honor to You.

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: Jesus is the True Vine ~ John 15:1-17

FMC ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond… the faithfulness of God is trusted…Heavenly Father, we come before You today in awe of Your unchanging faithfulness. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever, and we praise You for the certainty of Your love and care. Even when we are faithless, You remain faithful. Your promises never fail, and Your presence is constant, a refuge we can always depend on.

Thank You for the countless ways You have shown Your faithfulness in our lives – through answered prayers, through provision in times of need, and through Your unwavering support when we feel weak. Your faithfulness reaches beyond our understanding, thank You for the comfort that we find in knowing that we are held by Your steady, loving hand.

INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, guide me in using the gifts and opportunities You have given me to build others up. Forgive me for the times I have focused on myself rather than on serving others. Help me adopt a heart that puts others first, seeking always to use the spiritual gifts You’ve entrusted to me for their growth and encouragement. Lead me in my interactions so that those around me are blessed and You are glorified. Show me who to reach out to, when to speak, and how to encourage with Your Word. May I be a vessel of Your love and encouragement as we draw nearer to the Day of Your return.

STUDENTS: Growth in Character and Hope ~ Father, we ask that each day spent here would teach our students the true meaning of finding joy in their hardships because You are with them. May You shape them to be resilient and persistent, allowing every challenge to refine their character and draw them closer to Christ, in whom they will find their hope and strength.

SCRIPTURE: Romans 5:3-5 “Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”

CARE: Father, we thank You for the gift of community, for the way You have designed us to live in relationship with one another. We are grateful for the people You place in our lives – family, friends, and fellow believers – who walk alongside us, sharing in our joys and bearing our burdens. Lord, help us to value and nurture the community we are part of. Remind us to love one another with the same sacrificial love that You have shown us. May we be quick to listen, slow to speak, and ready to serve. Give us the humility to lift each other up, the patience to bear with one another, and the grace to forgive as You have forgiven us.

We recognize that community is not always easy, but it is through these relationships that we reflect Your love to the world. Help us to be intentional in building deeper connections, supporting one another, and growing together in faith. Let our lives be a testimony to the power of unity, and may our love for one another be a witness of Your love for us.
