KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 10, 2022

FMC PRAYER: Pray for the church to have a love for God’s Word and to walk in His wisdom, humility, and strength.
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 3: 17b-18 “that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth…”

FMC TEAM VALUES: Vision – To Reach the Tri-State Region + Beyond for God’s Kingdom by making fully devoted followers of Jesus. Pray that everything we do would be done to accomplish this! Pray that we would be willing to lay aside anything that hinders us in accomplishing this vision. Pray for the faith to follow the Spirit’s lead, keeping in step with Him each day, personally and corporately.

OUTREACH: Mentoring – Pray that we would all recognize that we are to grow and learn and serve and become more like Jesus, together; that we would all seek to share what God has done in and for us with one another; that we would be willing to invest in one another’s growth in meaningful and fruitful and consistent ways; that no one would be too proud to admit that he/she doesn’t need others and that no one would believe the lie that he/she has nothing to offer.

PILLAR: Pillar 4 – Praise and Adore God (praise/expressive/joy) Four Mile ensures a high volume of air exchange: fresh, clean, fragrant – which helps us associate the joy we are expressing through our words, actions, and praise!

APPLICATION: Practice – Eradicate a spirit of anger, resentment, callousness, violence, or bitterness, and instead cultivate a spirit of gentleness, kindness, peace, and love; recognize and honor the image of God in every human being from conception to natural death.
