Kingdom Prayers

KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK OF JUNE  20, 2022

Let this be a guide as your pray throughout the week – do not simply read through this and agree, but intentionally reflect on how these things can/will reveal Christ’s Kingdom more and more, here on earth.

Student Ministry (babies through 18)
Pray that over the next 3 to 5 years, God grows a united student ministry all across Beaver County, even as we use the more immediate Beaver area as our starting point. Pray that churches would unite around the Kingdom and a mutual desire to see the next generations reached for Christ. Pray that God would raise up adults who have a love for students of all ages and a desire to be poured out for the Gospel on their behalf. Pray that God would raise up Christ-following students who will love their fellow class- and teammates, who will pray for them and share God’s Word and love with them.

SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 1:15-18
“For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened…”

PRAYER: That the church’s primary teachers grow in dedication to God’s Word even when no one’s watching.

VALUE: Value 1: Kneel before we run
This value is listed first intentionally. Everything we do must begin from a place of desperation for and dependence on God. We have a race to run, but we must kneel in submission and devotion to God before we begin. Often ministry can become a distraction from our personal walk with the Lord. Soon we’ve sacrificed intimacy for productivity. Instead, our number one priority is to begin everything with prayer and submission flowing from a genuine heart for God. KEY WORDS: DEPENDENCE, PRAYER, WORSHIP

PILLAR: Pillar 11. Build each other up in Christ (exhort/affirm/encourage/peacemaker)
FMC holds that Jesus is the head of this church & He calls His church to build up, strengthen, and encourage believers

SCRIPTURE:
“Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing.”  1 Thes 5:11
