KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF DECEMBER 15, 2025
SERMON TITLE: Healing a Man Born Blind
SCRIPTURE: John 9
FMC PRAYER: Lord, we lift the congregation of FMC to You this week. Open our eyes to joyfully recognize where You have placed us and how we can best glorify You in our everyday interactions. As we learn to listen and respond to Your calling, help us to realize our purpose as every faith-filled act of service is fulfilled by Your power alone. May our knees become bruised and battered from humbly submitting to You in prayer as we walk in love with one another, clothed in Your righteousness and longing to see Your Kingdom come.
ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…the lost are found…Father, we beg You to draw those who are spiritually lost back to You! Isaiah 53:6 says that “We all went astray like sheep; we all have turned to our own way; and the Lord has punished Him for the iniquity of us all.” Oh God – we are still like sheep! Utterly lost without You. Open blind eyes to see the grace You have poured out on us through Your One and Only Son. He came to find the lost and lead us to a place that we could never find on our own. May Your Truth bring us to our knees this week – in surrender, reverence, and gratitude.
FMC VALUES: Desired Endstate: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond… the Glory of God is honored, intimacy with Jesus is treasured, the Holy Spirit’s fruit ripens in believers’ lives, the holiness of God is revered, the goodness of God is relished, the truth of God is pursued, the faithfulness of God is trusted, the promises of God are believed, the grace of God is cherished, the wrath of God is feared, the commandments of God are obeyed, humility abounds, the lost are found, repentance and gratitude flow, praise and prayer erupt, lives and communities are transformed, love and joy fill hearts, freedom and forgiveness overwhelm, barriers are broken down, the hungry are fed, marriages are restored, families are reunited, and prodigals come home!
INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, help me to treasure Your bride as much as You do. Help me to see the centrality of Your church in this broken world. From men and women who were once Your enemies, You are assembling a community of born-again believers from every tribe, tongue, and nation to proclaim Your matchless wisdom to the world and spiritual realm. All of history will culminate in your Son’s wedding to His beautiful bride. Lord, help me to treasure Your bride as You do and pour myself out to build her up.
STUDENTS: Lord, please give our students Your peace. We pray that You will lead them to take every single thing they are worried about to You in prayer, so that Your peace, which passes all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in You. May they rest in Your goodness and the certainty of Your eternal promises.
CARE: Let us fervently pray for those who have yet to encounter Christ or who persistently oppose His ways. In a world constantly enticing us towards sin, we must recognize the urgency for those living outside of Christ’s grace. May our prayers for them be fervent, seeking the opening of their eyes to the Truth, and may God grant us the strength and courage to act upon His will, speaking and doing what He asks of us in reaching out to those in need of salvation.
