KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF OCTOBER 20, 2025
SERMON TITLE: Healing the Official’s Son
SCRIPTURE: John 4: 46-54
FOCUS: God wants us to take Him at His Word and trust Him with every part of our lives.
FMC PRAYER: Kingdom Focus/Priorities – Lord, we lift up our Kingdom focus and eternal priorities as a congregation to You this week. Give us ears to hear what Your Spirit is saying to Four Mile Church. Open our eyes to see things as You see them. Help us move beyond issues of immediate need to pursuing Kingdom issues with a Kingdom focus. Bring us to a place where we daily say and believe these words: “Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…the goodness of God is relished…Lord, You are good, and Your mercy never ends. Even in the moments I don’t understand, Your goodness remains constant and true. Thank You for every blessing seen and unseen, for the way You turn even hardship into grace. Teach me to trust Your heart and to rest in the beauty of Your goodness today and always.
FMC VALUES: Value 5 – Wash Windows: The heart of this value is humility and ownership in everyday life. No task is beneath you – whether it’s cleaning up a mess that isn’t yours, helping a neighbor, or taking time to encourage someone who’s struggling. When you see something that needs to be done, we don’t wait for someone else to fix it; step in with a willing heart. True excellence starts with small acts of service that no one may ever notice, but God does. Choose to see every moment, big or small, as an opportunity to reflect God’s goodness and care.
INVISIBLE CHURCH: Jesus said that the love we have for our brothers and sisters will proclaim to the world that we are His disciples. Lord, please deepen our love for one another and make us eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit. Help us care for all while not showing favoritism. May love compel us to serve patiently as we remember our service to others is service to You. Help us model Your unfathomable love for us in our honoring of one another, and so prove to the watching world that Christ has risen and reigns.
STUDENTS: Physical Health – Lord, wherever our students interact with their peers, we pray that You would protect them from any illness and its effects. Father, our bodies are good gifts, wonderfully made, and we pray that You would guard their health, for their protection and the protection of those around them.
CARE: Lord, thank You for the way You care for me with such faithfulness and love. Help me to extend that same care to others, to see their needs and respond with compassion, patience, and grace. Teach me to trust in Your promises, knowing that You are always true to Your Word. When I grow weary, remind me that Your steadfast love never fails and that I can rely on You completely. May my life reflect Your faithful heart in all I do.
