KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF AUGUST 25, 2025
SERMON TITLE: Elisha and the Widow’s Oil
SCRIPTURE: 2 Kings 4: 1-7
FOCUS: God’s grace is abundant…some of it is to be shared in public and some of it is private.
SEEKING GOD’S WILL: Lord, when hardships weigh heavy, remind me to turn first to You, just as the widow sought Your prophet for guidance. Align my hearts with Your will so that every step I take points others toward the way of life found in Jesus. May my obedience encourage others of the hope and grace found in You and You alone.
FOCUS ON GOD’S GLORY: Father, You alone deserve all honor and praise! When You provide, whether in public miracles or private mercies, may I never boast in myself but always proclaim Your glory. Let every blessing I receive be a testimony to Your abundant grace. Use my life as a vessel that overflows with worship so that others may see Your greatness and come to follow Christ.
INTERCESSION FOR OTHERS: Holy Spirit, I pray for my family, friends, and community—that they may experience Your abundant provision. Strengthen the weary, restore the broken, and open blind eyes to see Your hand at work. Make me bold to stand in the gap for those who are lost and hurting.
HUMILITY AND REPENTANCE: Father, forgive me for the times I’ve doubted Your provision and clung to self-reliance instead of recognizing Your grace. I am nothing without You. Search me, O God, reveal to me my faults and sinful ways so that I may repent and faithfully magnify Your name.
SPIRITUAL WARFARE: Jesus, You are greater that every enemy I face and Your Spirit fills me with power and courage. Let my daily battles this week serve as a reminder that though times may be trying – You have already secured the victory! Help me do the hard things this week.
