KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF AUGUST 4, 2025

SERMON TITLE: Lifting Our Eyes to the Hills

SCRIPTURE: Psalm 121

FOCUS: No matter what we may encounter, God is our Keeper! He loves and watches over the lives of His beloved children, now and forever.

SEEKING GOD’S WILL: “I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from?” (Psalm 121:1) Lord, I lift my eyes above the chaos, knowing my help comes from You, the King of all. You are my steady source, my unshakable refuge, and the One who never sleeps. Reveal Your glory through my life as I trust You to lead, provide, and sustain. Let everything I do today point back to the greatness of who You are.

FOCUS ON GOD’S GLORY: “My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” (Psalm 121:2) God, You are the Maker of heaven and earth—majestic, holy, and worthy of all glory. When I lift my eyes for help, remind me that it’s not just about rescue, but about reverence. Let my life be a reflection of Your greatness, in both strength and surrender. Be glorified in every moment, for You alone are worthy.

INTERCESSION FOR OTHERS: “The Lord watches over you—the Lord is your shade at your right hand.” (Psalm 121:5) Faithful God, I lift up those who feel exposed, weary, or forgotten—be their shade and shelter today. Watch over them with the same fierce love that covers all of Your children, guarding their hearts with Your peace.

HUMILITY AND REPENTANCE: “He will not let your foot slip… He will neither slumber nor sleep.” (Psalm 121:3-4) Lord, I confess the pride that makes me trust myself more than You, and the moments I’ve slipped because I tried to stand alone. Forgive me. In humility, I surrender my striving and return to Your steady care. Thank You for being faithful, even when I wander.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE: “The Lord will keep you from all harm—He will watch over your life.” (Psalm 121:7)
Mighty Defender, You are my covering and strength in every spiritual battle. Shield my mind and soul from the enemy’s lies and distractions. Keep me from harm, because You are the Keeper of my life—now and forever.
