KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE
WEEK OF JUNE 23, 2025
FMC PRAYER: Lord, we pray for the expansion of Your church in the tri-state region and beyond. May hearts be drawn to Your Kingdom through the truth of the gospel, the love of Jesus Christ, and the evangelism of the saints. Help us recognize the impact of our actions on how others perceive and accept Your Good News. Guide us as we play our part in helping to lead Your people out of darkness and into Your Son’s beautiful light – especially this week as we encounter numerous kids and parents during Kids Blast! We want to represent You genuinely and faithfully in the communities You have placed us. Please grant us the patience and boldness we need for this week.
SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: 1 Kings 19:9-21 ~ The Lord Speaks to Elijah & the Call of Elisha
FMC ENDSTATE: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond…the Truth of God is pursued…Lord God, just as You met Elijah in the still, small voice, please meet us in the quiet places of our hearts. In moments of exhaustion, confusion, or fear, remind us that You are not only found in fire or thunder—but in the gentle whisper of Your truth.
You called Elijah out of the cave and back into Your purpose…so too Lord, call us out from hiding, distractions, and doubt. Lead us back into the fullness of life You have prepared for us. May Your Word be our daily bread, nourishing our minds and shaping our steps. Help us pursue You earnestly in Scripture, not just for knowledge, but for transformation.
We thank You, Jesus, for the cross—the ultimate act of love that tore the veil and made a way for us to walk with the Father. Because of You, we are not left to wander alone or work for our worth. You are our truth, our peace, and our strength. Teach us to listen like Elijah, to obey like Elisha, and to live boldly in the truth we’ve come to know. May our everyday lives—our words, our work, our worship—reflect the beauty of Your gospel. In every season, keep drawing us back to You, the One who calls, equips, and redeems.
MISSIONS: Lord, shield us from both wicked individuals and corrupt ideologies. Throughout history, our enemy has tried to ruin Your wonderful plans for the world and Your followers. We ask for Your protection against anything that tries to create division, anger, envy, greed, or lust among us. Keep those with bad intentions and false teachings away from us. Help us see through the lies in our society and the lies we’re tempted to believe by focusing our hearts on the Truth that brings love, a clear conscience, and sincere faith (1 Timothy 1:5)
INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord Jesus, You are the head of the Church, the cornerstone upon which we stand. We come to You with hearts longing for unity—unity that reflects Your heart, not our own agendas. Break down every wall that divides us: walls of pride, tradition, culture, and misunderstanding. May no barrier be too great, no disagreement too deep, and no offense too old that it cannot be squelched by the power of Your love. Remind us that we are one body with many parts, called to serve one purpose—to glorify Your name alone.
STUDENTS: Father, thank You for the children who will be attending Kids Blast this week. May their hearts be soft, their wonder is big, and their minds ready to grow. We pray that they would come to know Your truth and love—not just in words, but through the kindness, patience, and care they see in the people around them.
Let their parents, crew leaders, volunteers, family, and friends be amazing role models who point them to You. Help us show them what it looks like to forgive, to pray, to serve, and to trust You.
Surround each child with people who love You and love them well. Let their hearts feel safe, their questions be welcomed, and their spirits be drawn to Your goodness. Plant seeds of faith in their lives that will grow strong and steady for years to come.
CARE: “Have you no wish for others to be saved? Then you’re not saved yourself, be sure of that!” -Spurgeon
Let us fervently pray for those who have yet to encounter Christ or who persistently oppose His ways. In a world constantly enticing us towards sin, we must recognize the urgency for those living outside of Christ’s grace. May our prayers for them be fervent, seeking the opening of their eyes to the Truth, and may God grant us the strength and courage to act upon His will, speaking and doing what He asks of us in reaching out to those in need of salvation.
