May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

INTERNATIONAL CONNECTIONS
Barahona (Batey Central), Dominican Republic – with Hearts for Dominican. To learn more check them out at http://heartsfordominican.weebly.com/
Hearts for Dominican is a Mission supporting Pastor Wilkyns Chal Bautista. Batey Central is a slum area located within the city limits of Barahona DR. Batey Central’s population is made up primarily of Haitian immigrants or people of Haitian descent, many of whom have no citizenship and are thus not entitled to education, medical treatment and other public services.
With Wilkyns vision a school was constructed here in 2011 through the help of Mt. Vernon church in Mississippi. Children in this school do not have citizenship or any documentation that would allow them to attend government sponsored schools.
Four Mile will partner with Wilkyns and perform much needed building projects for his school and provide sponsorship to the children of the school through his organization – Children of Hope.
Our hope and desire is to develop a deep lasting relationship with the community of Batey Central and to work with Wilkyns as he fulfills the vision God has given him to work in this area.
