KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK OF JULY 31, 2023

FMC PRAYER: Lord, we lift up the speakers and teachers in our church. Let them admonish and teach with wisdom. Reveal the mysteries of Your word to them and encourage them to speak those mysteries courageously and fearlessly. Let them speak with a spirit of faith that springs from their relationship with You.

SUNDAY’S SCRIPTURE: 2 Corinthians 8+9

FMC MISSION: Taking our next steps toward Christ, together! Pray that everything we do would be done to accomplish this! Pray for the strength to follow the Spirit’s lead, keeping in step with Him each day, personally and corporately.

INVISIBLE CHURCH: Lord, reveal to me the wonders of your Word. Father, as you spoke the world into existence, please continue to speak new life into your children. Give us knowledge as we look to the glory of your Son on display. Give us grace to receive your Word and rejoice in it. And convict us of our sin so that we might hate it as much as You do! May the weak be strengthened, the strong be humbled, and the Church continually built up!

PILLAR: Pillar 4. Adore and Praise God (praise/expressive/joy) Pray that our hearts would be focused on praise and worship and not on ourselves or the distractions that pull our eyes from singing loudly and boldly to our amazing Father in heaven.

PRACTICE: Psalm 47:1-2, Clap your hands, all peoples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy! For the Lord, the Most High, is to be feared, a great king over all the earth.
