Kingdom Prayers

KINGDOM PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK OF DECEMBER 19, 2021

Vision: To reach the Tri-State Region & Beyond for God’s Kingdom by making fully devoted followers of Jesus.

Pray that everything we do would be done to accomplish this! Pray that we would be willing to set anything that doesn’t help us reach this vision. Pray for the faith to follow the Spirit’s lead, keeping in step with Him each day, personally and corporately.

End state: Throughout the Tri-State Region & Beyond… the Glory of God is honored, intimacy with Jesus is treasured, the Holy Spirit’s fruit ripens in believers’ lives, the holiness of God is revered, the goodness of God is relished, the truth of God is pursued, the faithfulness of God is trusted, the promises of God are believed, the grace of God is cherished, the wrath of God is feared, the commandments of God are obeyed, the lost are found, repentance and gratitude flow, praise and prayer erupt, lives and communities are transformed, love and joy fills hearts, freedom and forgiveness overwhelm, barriers are broken down, the hungry are fed, marriages are restored, families are reunited, and prodigals come home!

Pray that we would see these things come to pass in ever-increasing ways! Pray that we would celebrate each and every moment we see this happening in one another’s lives!

FMC Team Values: Values describe how we will behave as we accomplish our vision, mission, strategy, and end state. Our values are not so much about getting into the endzone, but rather more about HOW we score. Without stating them, the Tri-State Region and FMC should be able to recognize these values by how we behave. FMC has ten team values – we’ll share one each week, simply cycling through them as we pray together.

Pray that no matter who or where or when, that these values would begin to permeate who we are and how we live and serve and love together!

Value 5: Wash windows

The heart of this value is humility and ownership. No one at FMC is too good to wash windows – or even someone else’s feet for that matter. Each FMC leader must own every piece of FMC (right down to the windows). This kind of ownership leads to excellence. If you see something and think, “Someone should do something about that,” then that someone is you! Always try to see through the eyes of a guest and never think, “That’s not my problem.” We must constantly be striving to improve the things we see around us. All of us must be willing to engage in the menial tasks down to washing our windows. KEY WORDS: OWNERSHIP, EXCELLENCE

A Healthy Fear of the Lord

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Proverbs 9:10

Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who finds great delight in His commands. Psalm 112:1

Pray that a healthy fear of the LORD would be the foundation on which our lives and faith are built – personally and corporately; that we would continually seek to humble ourselves under His mighty hand; that we would know that He is our wisdom, our knowledge, our delight, and that there is no greater blessing than walking in His ways.

That our Childcare Program would reflect Christ’s love to every family

Pray for Rick Bixler and the entire childcare staff at both the Beaver and the Midland sites – that they would be filled with the love of Christ as they care for so many little ones. Pray that health would be fortified, not just in them, but in the children. Pray that there would be opportunities to engage each family in meaningful ways, in order that they might come to know the love and grace of God personally. Pray for more children to love and serve!
