Mom to Mom - Women's Ministry
Ministry designed for women in all phases of motherhood

Being a mom is one of the most important jobs in the world, and while it comes with delightful benefits and moments of pure joy, we know that it has its challenges too. That’s why at Mom to Mom, we provide the resources, support and encouragement that mom’s need most.
Each week we enjoy coffee, light snacks and time to socialize. We also utilize Heart Talk by Linda Anderson as our primary teaching resource and supplement it with Grace Based Parenting by Tim Kimmel. We offer practical advice through wisdom and humor, all filtered through the Bible as the ultimate authority and truth. The teaching time is followed by a time to discuss ideas and questions with other moms.
Four Mile’s Mom to Mom group meets weekly on Tuesday mornings from 9:00 am to 11:30 am in the meeting room at the church office building. Special events are also incorporated throughout the year including crafts, service projects and even girls’ nights out! If you are a mom, we’d love for you to join us! 2011 Four Mile Women’s Retreat
Friday, November 11 - Saturday, November 12
at the castle in franklin, Pa
Brenda Van Winkle, who has a unique connection to Four Mile (she’s Julie Bragg’s aunt!), will be our guest speaker this year. Brenda and her husband Jim have been in ministry for over 20 years. She draws from her life experiences of being a pastor's wife, a missionary who has traveled and ministered in numerous countries, and a mother of four grown children. Using the Word of God and the Love of the Father as the foundation, her prophetic teaching gift calls women into a place of identity and destiny in Christ.
Watch in future Four Runners and mailings about the first "Advance" in a 3-step Christian women's movement called Natalie's Song, designed to train and equip women to walk in victory. Each step, held in a weekend format, helps us to "advance" as we let go of the things that hold us back and grab hold of what it means to belong in Father God's heart. The first of the three "advances," The Look of Love, will be presented at our fall women's retreat. The first "advance" is inspired by the life of Miriam to teach us about the Father's love for us, His daughters. Although each "advance" has it's own theme and focus, our hope is to have Brenda return to share the other two advances at later dates.
Plan now to attend the fall Women’s Retreat on November 11th-12th. For more information, see Judi Early or Bobbi Werkheiser.
